We are going to try this one. It's located on Snake Point.
This place is really just a nice cabin. When we arrived, we found the screened-in porch had broken screens and couldn't keep out the bugs. The bathroom shades were broken, there were dirty dishes in the sink, and the stove needs some repair on the large burner and was covered with grease and had some almost burnt food stuck to the heating elements. There were lamps broken in the few rooms we used. If someone put some elbow grease on this place and did a little fixing-up, this would be a really nice camp!
When the real estate people were informed of the condition of our house, they were shocked and made every attempt to rectify the issues. But, after being here for some time and getting some cleaning done, we find the cabin quite cozy.
The area is nice and quiet. We haven't seen anyone, that wasn't in a boat, all weekend! At night, only the call of the loon is herd.
Right off the point, there seems to be a place where the fish hang around and can be caught during a quiet time of the day.
This is where we enter the great state of Maine!
