Companies to avoid

These companies don't deserve a link. Just avoid them.

• Toyota

  Once they get the money, you are done.

• Westboro Motors

  Can't repair toyota or Dodge. Sales people lie. Finance people can't fill out the forms correctly.

• Ira Motors

  Can't fix toyota. Sales people withhold information and distract customers.

• Wal-Mart

  Most of the stuff is cheaply made and from China.

• Home Depot

  After hearing about the way they treat customers and for having a zero tolerance (which means zero intelligence, zero compassion, zero flexibility), this chain is off the list of good businesses.

• Lowes

  After dealing with the attitude from Kevin, the 'manager' at the Augusta store, this chain is also off the list of businesses to patronize.

• Microsoft
• Creative

  Since the release of Windows Vista, Creative has promised their Sound Cards as being 'Vista Ready'. Unfortunately, as many unlucky customers did discover, this is not true. What the users actually found were buggy, feature crippled drivers. Creative insisted that features such as Decoding of Dolby® Digital and DTS(TM) signals and DVD-Audio which worked fine in WinXP, would not work on windows Vista. With Creative releasing less than one new driver a year, things seemed bleak. Fortunately, a talented user, Daniel_K, was recently able to 'fix' many of the drivers, enabling the incompatible features and also fixing many bugs. Just today Creative has decided to put a stop to this. They removed all links to his modified drivers, and banned several users who were posting links to the now banned drivers.

• Whole Foods

  Prices keep going up. Can't keep store stocked. Hot bar is usually luke-warm.

• LensCrafters

  Had three pairs of glasses made and I still can't see.

• Renewal by Anderson

  We paid a lot of money for low quality items and lousy service. Every door and window needed re-work and still needs work, but they refuse to do it. We asked for an itemized bill and they couldn't produce it. We wanted a cost on each item and labor, but we didn't get even that small request answered properly.

• Jordans Furniture

  Can't deliver when you want. You need to take time off work to accommodate them. Salespeople don't know what they are talking about; they just give the customer whatever line to sell the stuff.

  Somehow, the oil they put in my engine just disappeared. Then they sent an engineer to pronounce they did nothing wrong.

• Restaurants to avoid
